For technical reasons, the first book to come out this year(!) will indeed be Traitor Comet, set from May 1926 – June 1926. I had considered combining it with book two, L’Etoile de Mer (The Starfish), set from September 1926 – May 1927, but the publisher could not bind a paperback that thick.
(Be aware I’m combining some events that happened in 1924 and later in the first novel. Fictionalizing someone’s life can get complex, but I retain the essence of Artaud’s and Desnos’s relationships with Breton.)
Both will be available also as eBooks on Kindle, Nook, and Apple platforms.
Hardcover is not being explored at this time, but I might want to combine both into a hardcover version if readers are enthusiastic about the first two novels. Both will include teasers, so book two L’Etoile de Mer (The Starfish) will include a scene from book three Theatre of Cruelty, which recounts Artaud’s life from 1929 until his incarceration.
Book four is Ebony Life and is still being written.
A big THANK YOU and GRAND MERCI to all the readers of this website!
